FIFA fans have been waiting for the launch of FIFA 23, and the most eager players have already started the game as part of the three-day Early Access period. But things didn’t go smoothly. Players have already encountered many issues and bugs that dampen the experience. One of the most prolific so far is that of an error message related to EA’s Anti-Cheat – a kernel-mode anti-cheat.
Players on Steam/Origin have received a message stating “EA Anti Cheat Service has encountered an error. Please restart the game.” Most online games use anti-cheat software, and while this usually works, it can be one of the first things to cause problems. So how can you fix it?
