Eagles offensive lineman Josh Sills ‘forced woman to perform oral sex on him in 2019’: court documents

Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Josh Sills is accused of forcing a woman to perform oral sex on him in his truck for “about 20 minutes” in 2019, according to court filings obtained by DailyMail.com.

“Joshua Matthew Sills engaged in sexual activity on or about December 5, 2019 in the aforementioned county of Guernsey [victim] when Joshua Mathew Sills deliberately forced them to submit by force or threat of force…”

Ohio prosecutors said Wednesday that Sills “violently restrained and raped a woman” in December 2019, prompting the Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office to recently open an investigation into the incident. After the inquest, a grand jury charged Sills, 25, with one count of rape and one kidnapping. He is expected back in court on February 16.

It remains unclear why the charges were brought three years after the crime was first reported to Ohio authorities. Ohio Attorney General spokesman Dave Yost did not immediately respond to DailyMail.com’s request for an explanation.

Sills’ attorney, Michael Connick, said the allegations were false and his client would plead not guilty. The Oklahoma state product was recently placed on the commissioner’s exemption list, effectively suspending him for the Eagles’ upcoming Super Bowl LVII game with the Kansas City Chiefs on Feb. 12.
