Emmie Sperandeo, the TikTok influencer, has no recollection of it after a horse fell on her in Arizona

A TikTok influencer with over 1.5 million followers can’t remember her fame after being thrown from a horse earlier this month at the Arizona ranch where she was working.

Documenting her life on social media, Emmie Sperandeo, 27, reveals her move from Florida to Arizona, where she relocated to work with animals.

On May 15, Sperandeo was moving cattle around the ranch when the horse she was riding “spun and fell on her,” her sister said on a broadcast GoFundMe Site set up to help her family pay their medical bills.

“She held on to the horse and was whipped by the horse as it fell sideways.” Her head fell to the ground,” her father Mariano said AZ family.

At the time of the fall, she was still recovering from a concussion after being thrown from a horse last month – and had also broken a finger in the incident.

Mariano said due to the recent accident, his daughter has no memory of her fame and can only remember things that happened between the ages of seven and 14. According to the GoFundMe page, Sperandeo fractured her skull in two places and was bleeding from her ears.

“The impact was so hard that people from 100 meters away could hear her head hitting the ground… She’s a tough kid but she has a long way to go,” Mariano told the broadcaster.

The GoFundMe page said Sperandeo stabilized on May 19 and regained intermittent consciousness.

Her sister Natalie said on the crowdfunding page that Sperandeo has no memory of the accident or her career and that she doesn’t know why people are writing to her.

Natalie said Sperandeo was still losing brain fluid as of Sunday and was on an IV and had to remain upright.

She has already started receiving speech and physical therapy. On May 23, she left the intensive care unit, her family said in a TikTok post. “Keep up the good work our sweet cowgirl,” the post read.

“Although Emmie is not out of the woods, as of this writing, her condition appears to be stable enough for her to be transferred from the ICU to the Neurology Unit, where she is receiving both speech and physical therapy,” her family added.

Mariano told AZ Family that his daughter no longer has work-related health insurance due to her age. He said he didn’t know if she had private insurance. “Pretty much all of their income comes from social media activity,” he said.

He explained that Sperandeo is currently a rancher, documenting her travels between Arizona and Montana.

Mariano further said that she keeps several animals as pets, including a bison. They try to relocate her to Florida where Sperandeo is being treated. Your bison will be taken to Montana.

On her official site, Sperandeo said her love for videomaking began when she was 13 and got her first video camera, which led to her pursuing a bachelor’s degree in production from the University of Florida. She has been riding horses since she was four years old.

“I now travel full-time in my truck and trailer with a companion dog.” I have traveled from coast to coast in the United States several times. “I let my curiosity and wanderlust inspire me in my work,” she writes.

In February, Sperandeo spoke in an interview with about one of her adventures in the African country of Namibia, where she worked on a ranch in 2022 Outside the magazine. She explained that she had been given the task of training a wild horse.

“I don’t consider myself a horse trainer, but I have trained horses.” And I’m always nervous before the first ride just because you can prepare it as best you can, but it’s also a really unpredictable situation. “It’s frankly dangerous,” she said.

During a horse ride, Sperandeo said she stroked the horse Kibo’s neck, which caused the horse to buck and fly through the air, breaking its tailbone.

She said that the day before she flew home, she made sure she had another ride with Kibo that went smoothly.

“I got on it again the day before I left because I didn’t want to hurt myself the last time I rode it.” “It was one of those lessons that showed me that I can do really difficult things” , she said.
