Epic Games is adding The Kid Laroi Collaboration to Fortnite

Fortnite’s in-game radio is getting a shake up thanks to The Kid Laroi Icon Radio Takeover, but it seems more content is coming soon.

It feels like radio stations have always been a part of Fortnite, but the feature wasn’t actually added until Chapter 2. Since then we’ve seen a variety of radio stations that allow players to listen to tracks in cars or other vehicles. From Party Royale to Radio Underground, there’s an in-game radio station for everyone.

But one of the most compelling stations is Icon Radio, which regularly collaborates with well-known artists to bring their favorite songs to Fortnite. This January, players can expect to hear The Kid Larois takeover in-game.

Epic Games announced via Twitter today that The Kid Laroi will be the next artist to take over the airwaves in Fortnite.

“What will The Kid hear LAROI when he gets the Victory Royale?” read the tweet.

“Get in a vehicle and tune in to LAROI’s Icon Radio Takeover with some of his favorite songs.”

But that doesn’t seem to be all, as Epic Games tweeted that there’s more to come from The Kid Laroi here. “And STAY tuned for more of The Kid LAROI later this month.”

Leakers have speculated that the artist could also get an in-game concert, either in Battle Royale or Creative. Known Fortnite leaker HYPEX said: “Fortnite x The Kid LAROI concert is confirmed for later this month. With most likely an ICON skin too!”

Epic Games is yet to confirm what else is on the table for The Kid Laroi, but fans will likely find out more in the coming days.
