Epic Games sent DrLupo this iconic Fortnite Chapter 1 prop

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 is just a week away and Epic Games just sent DrLupo an iconic Fortnite Chapter 1 prop to announce the throwback season.

Ever since Fortnitemares 2023 broke Kado Thorne’s time machine, rumors have been circulating about a possible return to OG Fortnite maps, weapons, and moves. As leakers shared their thoughts on Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5, Epic Games took the lead and dropped in-game teasers for Chapter 1 Season 5 in Frenzy Fields.

The developers also sent content creators packs full of Chapter 1 staples, including the original lobby theme. Then yesterday a huge Truck ‘N’ Oasis sign appeared in front of CouRageJD’s house.

Now the next IRL teaser arrived this morning from Benjamin “DrLupo” Lupo.

Another OG Fortnite star, DrLupo woke up with an iconic Fortnite Chapter 1 prop from Epic Games. In a video he Posted on X Today, the content creator debuted the Dusty Diner mug on his property.

The cup comes from Dusty Diner, the small restaurant outside of Duty Divot in Chapter 1, Season 5. The two POIs remained on the map until Dusty Depot’s big return in Chapter 1, Season 10.

“Epic, have you all lost something? Because I don’t think this should be here,” DrLupo said before panning to the giant object.

The apparent callback to the Chapter 1 Season 5 map is another hint from Epic Games that the first map to appear in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 is the OG map from exactly three chapters ago.

Yes, Dusty Diner will likely return to Fortnite. Although Epic Games has not yet confirmed the return of the Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 5 map, all recent teasers, including the Dusty Diner sign for DrLupo, prove that the popular POIs are indeed coming back.
