Horrific footage has emerged showing the aftermath of a serious car accident involving Gillingham players on a quaint suburban street.

It emerged that a BMW luxury sports sedan was badly damaged when it landed on the tarmac in front of a driveway, leaving debris strewn on the road.

Apparently, the car was involved in a violent collision with a wall, which took the brunt of the force, as evidence showed that large chunks of brick and stone had come loose.

Another car, a black Lexus SUV, is seen parked in the driveway with pieces of brick on the roof while the BMW is parked in front.

The German sedan’s airbags deployed in the crash, with police also guarding the scene of the accident, which is reportedly on a street where a school is located.

Several Gillingham players can be seen outside the vehicle following the crash in Kent

Gillingham players can be seen alongside the vehicle while still wearing their training gear while assessing the extent of the damage after exiting the vehicle unharmed.

The incident happened Thursday morning, with an onlooker saying the vehicle spun around and ran over the brickwork before crashing into a parked vehicle, as reported by KentOnline.

The Gillingham players believed to have been involved in the crash are former Crystal Palace and Wales star Jonny Williams, along with Timothee Dieng, Macauley Bonne and George Lapsie.

Gillingham declined to comment on the incident when approached by Mail Sport.

The players are seen hugging after the accident, while a black Range Rover later also arrives at the scene of the accident.

The car involved in the accident was later removed while a concerned neighbor explained: “Everyone appeared to be fine as there were no ambulances.”

“The players were picked up by colleagues in other cars and then by the driver [of the BMW] waited.

“Police were there awaiting recovery but it appears the car has now been recovered.”

“It looks like it did a lot of damage.” Neighbors are shocked. The man who lived there was opening his curtains, so he saw it.

“There is a school on this street.” “Lucky it’s school holidays, otherwise people could have been injured.”
