James Haskell is still living in his family home with his wife Chloe Madeley following their split, MailOnline can exclusively reveal.
The former rugby player, 38, and personal trainer, 36, confirmed their split in a joint statement released on Saturday.
It comes after months of speculation about the couple’s relationship after Chloe appeared without her wedding ring while partying with friends – after James was pictured chatting to a mystery blonde outside a London nightspot.
Since then, the couple, who married in 2018, have been spotted without rings several times.
A source told MailOnline: “James Haskell still lives at the family home in Hampstead, he returned on Monday and was still there yesterday morning.”

Chloe and James reunited at home in north London with their daughter Bodhi on Wednesday after James spent the weekend in Paris for the England v South Africa rugby match.
They appeared to be a happy family when James confirmed on Instagram on Tuesday that they were both home together after his trip.
He posted a video of their 14-month-old daughter Bodhi driving a toy car in their kitchen.
Chloe played with the little one while James offered a few words of encouragement behind the camera.
As a caption, he wrote: “Bodhi holds on to the drive-bye high-fives.”
But on Saturday they posted a joint update on Instagram that read: “Chloe and I have mutually decided to separate at the end of September 2023.”
“We had no intention of releasing a statement at this time – especially not while the television program was airing – but constant speculation about our marriage unfortunately forced us to do so.”
Chloe added: “Beyond this statement, we will not be speaking publicly about this matter and ask for privacy at this time.”

James enjoyed a night out with friends in Paris last Friday when he attended the Blackeye Dry Gin Party – a company he co-founded.
James shrugged off the drama in the French capital and appeared to be having the time of his life as he smiled for a few photos.

Previously, Chloe made a veiled comment about “keeping it real” as she thanked social media followers for praising her new show.
The daughter of TV presenters Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan responded to the positive reaction from fans on Tuesday evening.
She wrote on Instagram: “Thank you everyone for your BEYOND lovely messages about the show!” I love that so many of you say you find it funny and relatable.
“The goal was to keep it 100% real, which is scary. So it is a great relief, comfort and joy that so many mothers and couples say that this is exactly what they like about it. “Thank you very much.”
