EXCLUSIVE: Matthew Perry’s ex Molly Hurwitz ‘wishes’ the ‘Friends’ star hadn’t ‘thrown away’ their relationship by messaging a 19-YEAR-OLD girl Raya – but has ‘no hard feelings’ despite their ‘breakup “It wasn’t amicable.”

Matthew Perry’s ex-fiancée Molly Hurwitz is “heartbroken” over his sudden death, say insiders, who claim she was hoping for a lasting relationship with the actor before he “threw her away.”
The “Friends” star, who was found dead in his Los Angeles home on Saturday, was first romantically linked to the literary executive, who works for Thruline Entertainment, in 2018 before they got engaged in November 2020.
But in the summer of 2021, the relationship ended dramatically after allegations that Perry had messaged a 19-year-old on the exclusive dating app Raya.
“Of course she is heartbroken about his death,” the insider told DailyMail.com exclusively. “She loved him and, like everyone else in her case, wished things had turned out differently.”

The source added that while Perry longed for a stable relationship, he ultimately failed to behave in a way that would make it a reality.
They continued: “Matthew claimed he wanted this family and to be loved by a woman forever, but he had that with him until he threw it away.”
The couple’s relationship ended after footage of the actor’s flirtatious exchanges with the 19-year-old was published online.
Perry was seen in a video posted in May 2021 flirting with TikTok user @kittynichole – real name Kate Haralson – who claims they started dating that month on the members-only dating service has found a partner.
Haralson shared the footage of himself with the caption: “When you meet Matthew Perry on a dating app as a joke and he Facetimes you and plays 20 Questions with you.”
The leak was ultimately the nail in the coffin for Perry and Hurwitz’s relationship. The source claimed: “She caught him talking to a teenage girl on a dating website and he got defensive.”
“Their breakup was not amicable, but Molly doesn’t blame him or harbor any hard feelings.”
Perry confirmed their split at the time, saying in a statement: “Sometimes things just don’t work out, and this is one of them. ‘I wish Molly all the best.’

Hurwitz posted a poignant tribute to her ex-fiancée on Instagram, claiming he would “I love that the world is talking about how talented he was.
She recalled how he “rediscovered his brilliance” when they re-watched “Friends” together ahead of their 2021 reunion, before adding that She “obviously knew this man in a completely different way.”
“Although I loved him more than I could understand, he was complicated and caused pain I had never known,” she said.

Elsewhere, another source told DailyMail.com that Perry – who never married before his death – longed for stepchildren thanks to his great relationship with his own stepfather Keith Morrison.
“Matthew has always dreamed of having the perfect family,” a second source close to the star told DailyMail.com. “He wanted a wife and at least a few children.” And he said he wouldn’t even mind marrying a woman who already had children.’
“No one meant more to Perry in this world than his stepfather Keith Morrison, the Dateline host who married his mother in 1981,” the source said.
The actor, who rose to fame as the sarcastic Chandler Bing in the groundbreaking ’90s sitcom, was found dead in his Los Angeles home on Saturday after emergency responders were called around 4 p.m. local time.
Earlier in the day, he had reportedly played a two-hour game of pickleball – a sport similar to tennis but played on a smaller court – before sending his assistant off on an errand. When they returned, Perry was reportedly found lifeless in his hot tub.

Perry also revealed that his colon ruptured as a result of his opioid addiction when he was just 49 years old.
Doctors gave him only a two percent chance of survival and he was in a coma for two weeks, followed by months more in the hospital.

Perry required 14 surgeries to repair all abdominal damage, and he admitted to going to rehab 15 times over the years in hopes of kicking his drug addiction.
At one point during his Friends career, he admitted that he was taking 55 Vicodin a day and was only losing 100 pounds, but he “didn’t know how to stop.”
Fans and friends alike are flooding social media with tributes to the star as they continue to deal with his untimely death.
