EXCLUSIVE: Taylor Swift looks chic in a bronze dress on break from her triumphant tour as she meets up with her End Game boyfriend Ed Sheeran for dinner in NYC

Taylor Swift reunited with close friend and colleague Ed Sheeran in New York City on Thursday after recently completing the North American leg of her Eras Tour.

The duo, who have worked together on a number of songs over the years, had dinner at the members-only club Zero Bond.

They were flanked by security guards as they exited the celebrity hotspot one at a time.

Swift, 33, looked effortlessly stylish as she exited the building in a rust colored dress with a flowy satin skirt.

Her dirty blonde hair was tied back in a ponytail and she wore black platform loafers that matched her purse.

The anti-hero singer was adorned in gold jewelry and had a Louis Vuitton handbag slung over her thin frame.

Swift walked over to a chauffeur-driven SUV parked in front of the eatery.

Meanwhile, Sheeran, 32, cut a casual figure in a white tee and black skinny jeans.

The British hitmaker tucked most of his auburn hair under a baseball cap and wore a necklace beneath his shirt collar.

He strolled down the sidewalk in a pair of Jordan 1 Retro High OG Washed Black sneakers.

Sheeran couldn’t take Swift with him as he was heading the other way with his security team.

Swift is enjoying a rare hiatus after completing the first two legs of her North American Eras Tour with six sold-out shows at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

Back-to-back shows have seen numerous high-profile stars flock to the venue along with an estimated 500,000 fans to see Swift’s performance.

The tour kicked off in Glendale, Arizona in March and was due to conclude in LA on August 9th, but more shows in the US and Canada are planned for next year.

Swift will travel to South America later this month to perform in Mexico, Argentina and Brazil through November.

Sheeran’s appearance with Swift comes days after he revealed he’s yet to break into his superstar pal’s hugely popular lineup of newly recorded music.

During an interview on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM Deep & Shallow podcast Monday, he told the host that he and Swift hadn’t discussed the possibility of re-recording their 2017 single “End Game” for a future release.

“No I have not. No no. But 1989 (Taylor’s version) is the next movie to come out. “That’s next,” the Grammy-winning musician explained.

The song, which also features rapper Future, was originally included on Taylor’s hit 2017 album Reputation.

The topic came up after Cohen, 55, asked Sheeran if he planned to see Swift and Beyoncé’s concerts for their respective tours, both of which coincide with the English musician’s Subtract Tour.

Sheeran expressed his desire to attend one of the Eras touring concerts and shared how he enjoys the individuality of his fellow musicians’ concert performances.

“I think the beauty of every show is that it’s so individual for everyone.” And everyone has a different show,” he explained to Cohen.

“We all play. I’d love to see Taylor’s show, but we all play on the same dates every weekend. I think there’s a chance next year when she’s in the UK.”

Swift’s Eras Tour will not reach its UK leg until June 2024. Stops are planned in the following four cities: Edinburgh, Scotland; Liverpool, UK; Cardiff, Wales; and London, England.

Multiple shows will be held in each of the four cities during the UK leg of the tour.

The single “End Game” was co-written by Swift, Sheeran and Future, all three of whom have won 18 Grammys between them (Swift has 12, Sheeran has four and Future, 39, has two).

“End Game” was the third single from Swift’s sixth studio album Reputation (2017) not yet re-recorded.

The pop superstar will have to wait until “the later of two years after the end of the agreement or five years after the commercial release,” in Rolling Stone’s usual contract language, suggesting Taylor likely won’t be allowed to Re-record Reputation. however, she has not yet released the re-recorded version of her previous LP, 1989.

As Sheeran mentioned in his interview with Cohen, 1989 (Taylor’s Version), the re-recorded version of their 2014 album, will be released on October 27, 2023.

Swift, who made the announcement herself during one of her six Los Angeles Eras Tour concerts, told audiences that the 1989 version will feature five new singles, all of which are unreleased songs written for the original album and have been removed from the last track list.

Her album 1989 (Taylor’s Version) will be her fourth re-recorded LP, part of her backlash to her 2019 master feud.

Sheeran and Swift have been close friends since the two worked together on the single Everything Has Changed, featured on Swift’s fourth studio album Red (2012).

The English singer re-recorded her duet for Swift’s re-recorded album Red (Taylor’s Version), which was released in 2021.

The pair’s friendship goes beyond music, with Sheeran telling People in May that he thinks Swift is “one of the few people who really understands where I stand.”

“I had a 20 hour conversation with [Taylor] yesterday and we just had – everything that was on our minds, that we talked about. “I mean, that’s a kind of therapy in itself too, because you’re actually talking to someone who really gets it,” he said.
