Football fans have mocked Man City players for the outfits they appeared in ahead of their game against Switzerland’s Young Boys.
The triple winner is in Bern for the Champions League duel and hopes to be able to maintain his 100 percent record after victories against RB Leipzig and Red Star Belgrade in the first two group games.
However, when they arrived at the Wankdorfstadion and stepped off the team bus, City’s stars appeared to be wearing tailored cardigans and baggy jeans.
The cardigans had what looked like an armband on the left side that said “Manchester City” while on the back each player had their name.
And several fans couldn’t quite believe what they saw, while TNT Sports experts Joe Cole and Joleon Lescott also poked fun at the outfit.

“He looks around and I don’t care how many triples you win, guys, you need to get the equipment sorted. ‘It’s terrible.’
Lescott added: “If things aren’t looking good for Jack Grealish then I think, ‘Yeah, there’s a problem’.”
Meanwhile, another supporter said: “Look at how absolutely these boys turn up for a game,” before another quipped: “Those Man City cardigans, whoever thought that was a good idea should be sacked.” .”
Another added: “Man City players turn up in fancy 80s cardigans and prison jeans.”
More supporters also joined Pep Guardiola’s side as another said: “I just saw pictures of the Man City players getting out of the coach.” What are you wearing? “Nice denim.”
Another fan insisted that seeing the controversial design left him unsettled, simply stating: “Don’t look for #MCFC cardigans. You can’t unsee them.”
