FaZe Swagg announces the move from Twitch to YouTube

Hugely popular content creator Faze Swagg has announced that he will be moving from Twitch to YouTube. The FaZe member is known for creating tons of Call of Duty and Warzone content where he has amassed 2.1 million followers on Twitch and 2.55 million subscribers on YouTube.

Swagg will be one of the first major Twitch streamers to leave the platform for YouTube since Dr. Disrespect did so after mysteriously receiving a ban. Swagg appears to be embracing his new platform as he recalls his history with YouTube, tweet “I can’t even describe the feeling, man, who did my very first live stream on YouTube back in 2015.”

The official announcement came in the form of a video of Swagg talking to his younger self about life and how their future is unfolding. He ends up speeding off in a Porsche with a YouTube license plate.

The video already has 282.2k views and seems to be warmly received by fans and other content creators. Big names like Nickmercs commented on “W!” and even the official Twitter account for Call of Duty said “Congratulations!” With such a big move, Swagg is looking good as he seems to have a lot of support from his fans and friends.

He will start his first exclusive YouTube stream on September 2nd.
