FIFA 23 Base Icon Player Pick SBC went live on January 1st as part of the New Year celebrations during Winter Wildcards Team 2.
Historically, Icons have been among the most sought-after players in FIFA Ultimate Team. Icons in FIFA 23 have released multiple versions throughout the year. Traditional versions include Base, Middle, and Prime, but EA Sports introduced campaign icons this year, first shown with World Cup icons. Base Icons recently left packs when Prime Icons were released in build to Winter Wildcards. There are still some premium base symbols that players can grab and use in their squads.

Not a terrible price for this SBC considering players can only get base symbols. Once player selection is complete, it will contain three choices to choose from. The segment requirements aren’t too intense either, and don’t require a special item type like a Team of the Week card. The SBC has limited repeatability and will be updated in four days before the segment expires in six days.
