Fleur East reunites with her strict friend Molly Rainford on the beach in Barbados

Fleur East and Molly Rainford showcased their incredible figures in bikinis as they hit the beach in Barbados on Friday as they prepared to ring in the new year together.

The duo reunited outside of the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom after forging a friendship on the hit BBC dance show, in which both reached the final.

CBBC star Molly, 22, wowed in a bright yellow and blue crochet two-piece suit, while singer Fleur, 35, opted for a black and red number for the sizzling Instagram snap.

The girls both beamed at the camera wearing chic shades as they raised their arms in the air on the secluded sandy beach.

Molly captioned the post: “From Ballroom to Beach.”

Fleur also took to her Instagram story to share a cute video of the couple strolling and joking along the beach.

“Barbados, nice to see you mate,” joked Molly.

The singer replied: “Fantasy meeting you Molly I mean what are the odds.”

The pair were spotted laughing in their swimwear and matching cover-up as they laughed at being in Strictly’s bottom two.

Molly added: “The last time I saw you we were in the ballroom.”

“And now we were at the beach. look at us Barbados. We’ve come a long way, Molly. Those bottom two are worth something,’ Fleur replied.

After reaching the Strictly finals, Fleur has turned her attention back to music and will be releasing her new single Count The Ways next week.

The X Factor star shared that she will be taking to the stage on Friday at The Cliff in the Caribbean on New Year’s Eve as she rehearses into the night.

She recently admitted she has regained the “buzz of performer” after dancing on the BBC show every week.

Speaking about the new release, she explained, “I’m really looking forward to releasing new music. The last work I released was my album Fearless, which was my first independent album since leaving Syco in 2020.

“It was just after my dad died and right around the time the pandemic came into our lives and everyone went into lockdown, I had to cancel my tour, I had to cancel my entire promo, I had to cancel everything.

“It was such a shame that it was released back then and it was really difficult. Ever since and ever since I lost my father I just find my step again and get back to music.
