All the changes: Florence Pugh has opened up about her split from Zach Braff, 47, in a rare candid interview with US Vogue
Florence explained during the Vogue chat that the breakup was “all very new” and said that she and Zach, who lived together in LA, tried to keep their romance private.
“We weren’t written in anyone’s face. It was just that people didn’t like it. They pictured me with someone younger and someone in blockbusters.’
“I think young relationships in Hollywood get twisted so easily because they contribute to the gossip pages. It’s exciting to watch. And I think I’ve been in a relationship that didn’t do any of that.’

It’s over: Florence, 27, announced in an interview in August 2022 that she and Zach, 47, had split earlier that year after three years together
The two have remained close friends and collaborators, with Florence starring in Zach’s next project, A Good Person, which is out in March.
In the interview, director Zach is asked about his notes on his ex as an actress, revealing his admiration for her.
“I just think she’s one of the greatest actresses of her generation,” he enthuses. It’s just magnetic. You can’t take your eyes off her.”
“And it’s not just her beauty and it’s not just her acting skills, it’s that thing, that magical thing that goes beyond the screen where everyone goes: I want to see what that person is doing.”

A Good Person sees Florence as Allison about to be married when a horrific accident kills two of her fiancé’s family members.
The film follows her descent into opioid addiction and an unlikely relationship with her would-be father-in-law, played by Morgan Freeman.
Her character’s unconventional way of dealing with life and death is something Florence can relate to, and tells Vogue about her desire not to conform.

All that aside: Elsewhere, she explained her red carpet choices: “I’ve never been scared of what’s under the fabric,” when referring to the much-discussed pink tulle Valentino gown that she wore during the Milanese fashion week wore (picture)
An example she gives is the freedom she and her siblings were allowed growing up in Spain and in the Oxfordshire countryside, which continues into adulthood, and her approach to fashion.
“I’ve never been afraid of what’s under the fabric. If I’m happy in it, I’ll wear it,” she explains of her daring red carpet choices, including the much-talked-about pink tulle Valentino dress she wore during Milan Fashion Week.
“Obviously I don’t want to offend people, but I guess my point is: how can my nipples offend you so much?” She says.
“It is very important that we do this. I know some people make fun of me for saying this, but if a dress with my boobs showing through encourages people to say, “Well, if you were raped, you deserve it,” it just shows me there’s a lot more work to do.’
