A former Premier League star has been arrested in Ireland after he was found with £4,000 worth of cocaine in his car, it has been reported.
The ex-footballer was allegedly involved in a chase with police before he was stopped and arrested in Dublin’s Crumlin area last night.
The Irish sportsman was arrested on charges of drug possession and dangerous driving and released from Crumlin Garda Station, The Irish Mirror reported.
A file will now be sent to the public prosecutor’s office.
