New leaks suggest that Fortnite Refer a Friend 3.0 is coming to the battle royale with a free skin and matching cosmetics that players can earn during the event.

Fortnite Refer a Friend was first introduced in 2021 to encourage more people to play Fortnite. Each iteration of the event brings specific challenges and rewards with varying levels of difficulty for both new and experienced players.

Well, according to a reliable Fortnite leaker, iFireMonkeyIt looks like Refer a Friend 3.0 will be released in the near future with an alternative style of a popular skin.

The free Fortnite Refer a Friend 3.0 skin has been leaked ahead of an official announcement from Epic Games. X/Twitter user, iFireMonkeyrevealed that the Madcap “Rogue” skin will be one of the free rewards available in the upcoming event.

The Madcap skin first appeared in Chapter 3, Season 1 and has returned to the Fortnite Item Shop multiple times over the past year. Although the leak didn’t include a photo of the skin’s new style, we can expect a new color scheme for Madcap’s fur and mushroom.
