Frankie Bridge reveals she was “left hanging from a boat in her pants” during their honeymoon.

Frankie Bridge revealed she was left “hanging by her pants from the back of a boat” during her lavish honeymoon with husband Wayne in the Seychelles.

The former Saturdays singer, 34, cringe as she opened up about “the most awkward situation she’s ever been in”.

The couple were enjoying a luxury boat ride and were about to climb in the water to go snorkeling when Frankie’s bikini bottoms got caught on the boat ladder.

The Loose Women panelist, who tied the knot with the former footballer, 42, in 2014, said “everything was on display” and the boat crew had to help her “unhook” her.

Speaking to Giovanna Fletcher on the Walt Disney podcast Journey To The Magic, Frankie explained the hilarious story that made her blush a lot.

She said: “We spent our honeymoon in the Seychelles. One day we went snorkeling. I wanted to go into the sea and my bikini bottoms got caught on the ladder that you climb down into the sea.

“I was literally hanging off the boat by my pants. Obviously everything was in view and the poor boys working on the boat said I could see them stifling their laughter and trying to help me and I just said “Wayne! Wayne!”

After calling out her partner’s name and receiving no response, she was “lost” by the boat crew.

She continued: “But he’s already been in the water so it’s the most awkward situation I’ve ever been in and all these really polite men like to try to be really nice but I could just see faces everywhere.”

“Just like when you walk in and you’re like, ‘Oh my god, this is just awful.’ They had to unhook me. It wasn’t very chic for a new woman!

“I don’t think Wayne realized what was going on until I told him, then he thought it was hilarious.”

Frankie shares two sons, Parker, nine, and Carter, seven, with the former English footballer.

During the interview, she also admitted that she misses being in her girl group The Saturdays and would love to prove she’s cool to her kids.

The band, which consisted of Frankie, Una Healy, Rochelle Humes, Mollie King and Vanessa White, formed in 2007 and broke up in 2014.

Frankie revealed she can’t remember the last time the whole group was back together, saying, “It’s actually been so long, I don’t even know how long. Maybe seven or eight years. Sometimes I miss it.

“Sometimes I’d just like to do a video… a music video. I would love to go on tour but all I remember is making videos and they were such hard work and then when you got them back they would be amazing.

“Well, I would very much like to do that. Now I’m just like Mom and I want to be able to do something and say, “See, I was cool.” Just for my kids, yes. That’s sad, isn’t it?’
