Free MTG Arena February 2023 packs: How to get them

The newest Magic: The Gathering set, Phyrexia: All Will Be One, debuted at pre-release events across the country over the weekend and arrived at Arena yesterday. The set is already shaping up to be a powerful set that could shake up multiple online and paper formats. Here’s how to start “complete” your All Will Be One collection.
Phyrexia: All Will Be One introduced a number of new mechanics and reintroduced some that had long been absent from the game. Poison Counter, an alternate win condition that’s occasionally appeared on newer cards but hasn’t been a mechanical mainstay for more than a decade, makes a return in the form of the Toxic mechanic. Also back is Proliferate, a way to multiply counters of all kinds and quickly level up your board.
Just because your work takes place in a plane filled with terror and poison doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy your work.

Fans familiar with Arena may be wondering what the All Will Be One “play” code is. In the past, WOTC has released a code redeemable for three free packs for each set release under the formula “Play(Set Code)”, but such a code does not exist for All Will Be One. Instead, WOTC uses Arena’s new in-game messaging system to distribute the free packs.
To redeem the packs, one just has to go to the message envelope in the main menu and navigate to the latest message. The title is therefore easy to miss in Phyrexian, the entirely made-up language of mechanical villains. At the bottom of the message is a button labeled “Claim”. Once clicked, three free All Will Be One packs will be added to your inventory. These packs contribute to the wildcard tracks but not to the golden pack track.
With these free packs, you can begin collecting the powerful cards of All Will Be One and either join or resist the sinister Phyrexian agenda.
