The Cottagers striker (in the black and white kit) put in another impressive performance in Thursday’s 2-1 Premier League win in their west London derby against Chelsea (pictured).
Silva said: “Bobby is a really good example. Even changing something in the games, also preparing the games when you have a certain number of players on the pitch who can help me make different decisions during the game.
“Bobby has already played three out of four different positions for me. He was our plan B to play as a striker against Chelsea too.’
Decordova-Reid has four goals and one assist in 18 league games for Fulham this season. He has also picked up six yellow cards, which got him suspended for Fulham’s loss to Manchester City in November after picking up his fifth.

The 29-year-old also played his role in Cardiff’s side who were relegated in 2018/19, scoring five league goals and providing two assists.
“He had a tough night, the day before the Chelsea game, he was a bit unwell. He still managed to play 65 minutes,” Silva added.
Fulham now travel to Newcastle after a dismal SW6 derby win over Chelsea. Newcastle had the luxury of an extra two-day break after Tuesday’s Carabao Cup quarter-final win over Leicester. Fulham are aiming for a fifth straight Premier League win, six in all competitions.
