Gabby Agbonlahor insists Manchester United should aim to be part of the title race and backs them to take Arsenal top of the Premier League table.

United were in impressive form on Tuesday night as they swept Bournemouth off the field in a 3-0 win at Old Trafford thanks to goals from Casemiro, Luke Shaw and Marcus Rashford.

The win leaves Erik ten Hag’s side fourth in the league, level on points with Newcastle and just a point behind second-place rivals Man City.

“Everyone said you were crazy to say that, but why not? One point behind Manchester City, nine points behind Arsenal, Arsenal could still lose points. Manchester United must try to push Arsenal.

The win over Bournemouth was United’s fourth straight win and third straight clean sheet since returning from the World Cup break.
