George Santos SCREAMS at anti-Israel protester, calling him a ‘fucking terrorist sympathizer’: Capitol police move in to arrest protester outside the chamber. Republicans vote to nominate a new speaker
- “Nobody who defends Hamas has any business in this building,” shouted an extremely emotional Santos
- The event occurred just outside the place where Republicans met to vote on a new candidate for Speaker of the House of Representatives
Republican Rep. George Santos went on a screaming tirade in the halls of the Capitol complex after an anti-Israel protester confronted him.
“He has no place in this building.” “What is happening in Israel is disgusting,” shouted an extremely emotional Santos.
“Nobody who defends Hamas has any business in this building… He’s an animal.” “He’s a damn terrorist sympathizer,” he continued.
The event occurred just outside the place where Republicans met to vote on a new candidate for Speaker of the House of Representatives.
Capitol Police intervened and arrested the protester, identified as Shabd Singh, who got under Santos’ skin.
He appeared to question Santos about the “Israeli genocide,” which inflamed the embattled Republican’s anger.
Santos — who is under federal indictment for allegedly misappropriating campaign funds and lying to Congress — has also falsely claimed in the past that he was Jewish himself.

He tried to clear up his debunked religious claim by saying he meant he was “Jewish.”
“I never claimed to be Jewish,” Santos previously told the New York Post.
‘I am Catholic. Because I learned that my maternal family had a Jewish background, I said I was “Jewish.”
The protester, who appears to be Jewish but critical of Israel, wanted to speak to former speaker Kevin McCarthy. He said he was critical of any new war in the Middle East.
Santos appeared to be holding a child at the time of the confrontation.
“And next time he tries to walk past me. “With a child in my hands, I want him to get out of here,” he explained.
On October 7, Hamas terrorists breached the heavily militarized border around the Gaza Strip and killed more than 1,300 people – most of them civilians – in an attack compared to the September 11 attacks in the United States.
The terrorists beheaded over 40 children, tore elderly men and women from their beds and led them into captivity in Gaza.
It was confirmed that 27 Americans were killed by Hamas during the attack and over a dozen remain missing.
The horrific attack has shocked the world and emotions remain high as more reports and videos emerge about the mass atrocities.
Chaos continues to reign in Congress as the House of Representatives was without a speaker for the tenth consecutive day.
The hallway of the Longworth House office building was packed with reporters and congressmen Friday afternoon as they staked out Republicans’ latest vote on a new speaker candidate.
The House of Representatives is currently unable to even pass a basic resolution on the terrorist attack in Israel, let alone provide additional funding, as a key ally prepares for a possible ground invasion amid warnings of a humanitarian tragedy.
There is another threat of a possible government shutdown and funding will run out in a few weeks.
The whole scene “makes us look like a bunch of idiots,” Rep. Austin Scott of Georgia said Friday.
