Harry Kane took to social media after Bayern Munich’s 8-0 win over Darmstadt in the Bundesliga to talk about his hat-trick and incredible goal in his own half.

In a humble video statement, Kane expressed his delight at the result and called his goal from the halfway line “one of the better ones of my career.”

He called it an “amazing second half” with “one of my better goals.” as Kane secured a hat-trick, along with braces from Leroy Sane and Jamal Musiala.

Bayern fans were amazed by Kane’s goal from his own half, adding to an already eventful game that saw three red cards and eight goals in the first half.

Regarding the goal, he said: “That was it.” Obviously one of the better goals I’ve scored so far in my career. I got the ball at halftime and saw the goalkeeper outside his line in the first half.

“I always look for every game and of course I’ve tried to score from the halfway line a few times in my career, but this one just worked out perfectly.”

In a game full of incidents, there were three red cards in the first half before Bayern scored eight goals in 38 minutes after the break.

Six minutes into the second half, Kane scored the first goal, opening the scoring for Thomas Tuchel’s men.

With the huge win, Bayern return to the top of the Bundesliga table, one point ahead of Bayer Leverkusen, who play Freiburg tomorrow.

With five assists, Kane now increases his goal rate to 12.
