A shelter dog has received an outpouring of love and support after a heartbreaking video emerged of the animal watching people walk past without adopting him.
Elias, a six-year-old Siberian Husky, was filmed peering through the metal bars of his kennel at the Rancho Cucamonga Animal Care Center in California.
The disturbing video was posted to Reddit’s r/RescueDogs thread two days ago by a user named “Stickysmithers.”
He wrote: “This is the life of an overlooked shelter dog.” Many people walk past kennels, take one look and move on to the next one.
“Unnoticed, forgotten.” Adopt to save his life.’

Although many people have commented on the sad clip, no one has yet come forward to say that they have adopted Elias, so he is still up for grabs.
