Heartbreaking moment Lisa Marie celebrates her father’s birthday with Baz Lurhmann

Heartbreaking footage of Lisa Marie Presley has resurfaced following her death on Friday.

The 54-year-old, who was Elvis Presley’s only child, is seen in the clip earlier this month celebrating her late father’s birthday with friends and family at a party.

Australian filmmaker Baz Luhrmann, who met the American singer-songwriter while filming his Elvis biopic, shared a video from the event two days ago.

Among the guests at the event, which took place last week, was Lisa Marie’s actress daughter, Riley Keough.

Luhrmann, 60, posted on Instagram and wrote in the caption: “It was so great to share Elvis’ birthday with Lisa Marie Presley, Riley, friends, family…

“It was indeed a happy birthday and a celebration of a legacy!” he added.

The short clip shows highlights of the lavish celebration for Elvis, who was born on January 8, 1935 and died in 1977 at the age of 42.

Luhrmann, 60, posted on Instagram and wrote in the caption, “It was so great to share Elvis’ birthday with Lisa Marie Presley, Riley, friends, family…”

At one point, a happy and smiling Lisa Marie is seen giving a speech.

Another highlight are images of a giant cake with decorations inspired by the Elvis movie logo and shots of Elvis paraphernalia.

Meanwhile, Priscilla Presley has just passed away hours after cardiac arrest in the house where she had lived in Calabasas, California.

Earlier Thursday, Presley was hospitalized in critical condition and is said to have been in a coma after going into “complete cardiac arrest” shortly after complaining of stomach pains, according to TMZ.

Her mother, Priscilla, said in a statement: “It is with a heavy heart that I share the devastating news that our beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has passed away.

Lisa Marie’s death comes just two days after she was photographed with her mother at the Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills, where Austin Butler won a Best Actor award for his portrayal of her father in Baz Luhrmann’s biopic Elvis.
