Hogwarts Legacy Steam Early Access not working: How to fix it

Players attempting to access Hogwarts Legacy during early access on Steam are encountering difficulties. Here’s how to fix it.
Hogwarts Legacy is scheduled for release worldwide on February 10, 2023, but those who pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition of the game were offered a 72-hour early access period. PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC players with the Deluxe Edition got early access to Hogwarts Legacy starting February 7th, and while things have been smooth sailing for console players, PC and Steam players seem to be running into some issues encountered
According to many players, those who pre-ordered third-party PC game keys found that they were unable to access Hogwarts Legacy during the early access period. But fortunately the problem seems to be solved.
Webstores such as Fanatical reported on February 7th that Warner Bros. Games keys were not updated, meaning players were unable to access the game.
We have received confirmation from many members of the community that their games are now working! 🧡

“We have already contacted relevant parties and are awaiting a response. They’re checking this out urgently!” Fanatical said in a tweet.
In a follow-up response, the store updated customers, saying, “We’ve had confirmation from many members of the community that their games are now working.”
From the updates, third-party purchased PC keys for Hogwarts Legacy should now be active. Those still affected should consult the Warner Bros. Games support pages.
