Hollywood studios reject violent sequel to ‘Terrifier’ over sadistic opening scene after last film left cinemagoers vomiting

The next part of the controversial horror series “Terrifier” has already been rejected by Hollywood studios due to its extreme violence.

Terrifier 3, due in theaters next year, has an opening scene so violent that mainstream film studios have refused to finance it.

The final film in the series, Terrifier 2, was a surprise box office hit last year, grossing over $15 million on a meager $250,000 budget, making director Damien Leone a hot commodity in Hollywood.

However, despite the attention of major film studios, Leone said JoBlo this week that he’s making Terrifier 3 independently because mainstream studios are shying away from the film’s horrific violence.

“I met with studios like real Hollywood studios that wanted to make Terrifier 3,” he explained.

“But before I even had a script, based on the success of Part 2, just having meetings and feeling like I was looking over my shoulder, they were worried about the level of gore and this and that.” ‘ he continued.

“I knew it, and since I hadn’t seen my script or had any idea what I was trying to do, I knew they wouldn’t let me make this movie based on the first five pages.” “That’s how crazy Terrifier 3 is.”

Leone went on to say that the opening scene was so terrible that a film studio would “never” let him film it.

“So mark my words, I guarantee you that the first five minutes of this film will be very controversial. But that’s not even the big killing scene. So I was like, “I just have to do this movie by myself because it’s just too… too crazy.”

The Terrifier series is known for its sadistic killing scenes and extreme violence perpetrated by the antagonist, a murderous demonic clown named Art.

The first film featured a horrific murder involving a woman and a hacksaw, while the sequel featured mutilation so extreme that it left moviegoers vomiting in the theater.

What makes the franchise even more grotesque is its use of practical effects that look more realistic than CGI.

It comes after the first Terrifier 3 poster leaked online.

The first

The first “Terrifier” is about a maniacal mime named Art the Clown who terrorizes three women on Halloween, while in the sequel he sets his sights on a young girl and her brother

The promo for the scary slasher reveals that the third part of the popular series will be a Christmas film.

In the stomach-churning image, a blood-soaked clown Art looks confused as he swings an ax in front of a Christmas tree.

The tree appears to have been decorated with various entrails and human flesh, while Art’s name is smeared in blood on the wall.

Director Damien Leone has already promised that it will be even more extreme than the last film.

“Terrifier 3 will be another boundary-pushing addition to the horror genre, continuing the uncompromising heroics that fans of the franchise have come to expect and celebrate,” he said Fucking disgusting in May.

“If you thought Art the Clown’s reign of terror in Part 2 was extreme, you ain’t seen nothing yet.”

The first Terrifier is about a maniacal mime named Art the Clown who terrorizes three women on Halloween.

In the sequel, he returns after being resurrected by a sinister supernatural being to wreak more havoc, this time against a young girl and her younger brother.

Despite its low budget, “Terrifier 2” ultimately became a box office hit after several theatergoers became physically ill due to the violence and vomited during screenings.
