How many missiles are in Metroid Prime?

With the new remastered version of Metroid Prime coming to the Switch last month, many players are interested in finding out where the little collectibles are in order to unravel the mysteries of the game.
With the 250 inventory limit on Samus rockets, players will want to make sure they can carry all of those rockets after collecting any rocket augments or upgrades scattered throughout the game.
Below is some preliminary information for players who expect to complete each part of the new game and collect as many inventory upgrades as possible to ensure they can carry the maximum amount of rockets.

There are 49 rocket upgrades throughout the game, and while not all are required, it’s good to collect them if you plan to 100% complete the game. These upgrades will be scattered across the map for players to find in different nooks and crannies of Tallon IV.
Some of the notable areas where players can find the rocket upgrades are the Dynamo Room, the Blast Furnace, the Water Hall, and many more.
Many of the upgrades that players seek out on their journey will require either the use of a keen eye or the use of some of Samus’s other abilities to ensure they can grab the collectible effectively.
Metroid Prime Remastered was released on February 8th this year.
