Apex Legends: Resurrection focuses on Revenant’s rework called Revenant Reborn. With his pick rate at an all-time high, players will need to know how best to use his new abilities, particularly his tactics.

Check out the best options to counter Revenant Reborn in Apex Legends.

Before we dive into the counters, here’s a breakdown of every Revenant Reborn’s ability in Apex Legends Season 18, each up to date Sticky Notes:

PASSIVE: Assassin Instinct

Highlight nearby visible enemies who are low on health. They walk faster while crouching and are better at wall climbing.

TACTICAL: Shadow Leap

Unleash a powerful leap forward. Hold to charge for further distances.

ULTIMATE: Forged Shadows

Forge a veil of hardened shadows around you, blocking direct damage and regenerating when broken. Your shadows and your tactics are refreshed during knockdowns.

To counter Revenant Reborn in Apex Legends, Controller Legends like Catalyst and Caustic are the best options to run. Caustics Ultimate unleashes Nox gas over a large area for 15 seconds, dealing damage per second, stunning enemies and preventing them from sprinting. The stun is perfect for keeping Revenant Reborn’s tactics in check while also damaging his teammates.

Catalyst’s ultimate also stuns “Revenant Reborn,” preventing the legend from quickly attacking you and your squad. The Dark Shroud lasts 30 seconds, slowing and blinding enemies attempting to cross the wall. Revenant Reborn’s Shadow Pounce can essentially be mitigated by the Dark Veil.

If you’re not using controller legend, try shooting Revenant Reborn from the air while he exploits his tactic. Also, to prevent Revenant Reborn’s ultimate from recharging, you’ll want to prevent anyone in your squad from being knocked down.
