How to evolve Swirlix in Pokemon GO

Swirlix, the 684th Pokémon in the PokéDex, also known as the Cotton Candy Pokémon, was modeled after the popular treat. It was introduced in Pokémon X and Y along with several others as one of the new Fairy-type Pokémon.
This type is crucial in combating the ever-so-pesky Dragon-type.

In order to evolve Swirlix into Slurpuff, players must make the Pokémon their sidekick and feed it 25 berries. To do this, go to “Quick Treats” on the sidekick Pokemon’s page. It is worth noting that these berries can be any available in the game as long as 25 of them are given. Feeding Swirlix the 25 berries can be done at the player’s discretion, but regardless, it is vital to the Pokemon’s evolution process.
Finally, give him 50 Candy and the player will see his fluffy Swirlix evolve into the meringue Pokémon Slurpuff.
This is in contrast to the evolution method Swirlix requires in-game, where it must be traded with a Whipped Dream, a special item also released in Generation Six. Of course, since this item is not obtainable in Pokémon GO, the method had to be changed while making sure that the food theme of this candy-type Pokémon was still included.
Among other things, Swirlix was released with its counterpart Spritzee, the Perfume Pokémon, at the start of the Luminous Legends X event, which began on May 4, 2021.
