How to get Choice Specs in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

In the Pokémon series, the Choice Specs is a worn item that can be given to a Pokémon to increase its Special Attack stat by 50%, although it causes them to only be able to use the first move chosen. Giving this item to a primarily special attacking Pokemon, when used correctly, can become a devastating special sweeper.

Such a powerful item can be difficult to obtain in the main series games, as it often has to be found or given by the player in various ways. In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, there are several available for the player to purchase.

Mesagoza, the capital of the games Scarlet and Violet, not only contains either the Naranja or Uva Academy (respectively) but also several shops for the player to visit. These stores, like Delibird Presents, sell useful items that players can purchase.

By completing the game’s main story and then returning to the Mesagoza branch of Delibird Presents, located near the west gate that leads to the Southern Province (Area Two), players can purchase various items including the Items Choice Specs, Choice Band and Choice Scarf.

Each of these items costs a whopping 100,000 Pokédollars, so players will need to save money on their journey through Scarlet and Violet by defeating trainers and selling items that command high prices.

After purchasing the Choice Specs and giving them to a Pokemon on the player’s team, you’ll see that Pokemon use their special moves to do incredible damage in battle.
