Reminiscent of an old-fashioned comic book, this collectible temporarily removes the color of the area surrounding the gate for a sinister finish.
First introduced on March 10th, the Shade Raid Goal Explosion is a purely cosmetic item and is primarily found in Season Six’s Fornax Series Blueprint.
Blueprints are randomly obtained in-game after each game. When received, the blueprint presents an item that is added to a player’s inventory. The article can then be redeemed for a construction fee. There are currently four droppable Blueprint series:
In terms of rarity, it is categorized as a black market. With a one percent drop chance, items of this class are considered the rarest and most valuable in the game.
Players who have a lucky friend can also obtain the item through Rocket League’s online trading feature. Friends on the same platform can freely exchange items and credits with each other. Under a mutual agreement, players can trade everything from revealed blueprints to Rocket Pass items.
Players without patience or a friend’s luck can earn the item by trading five exotic blueprints of the same series in the item shop. There are two exotic items in the Fornax series, so duplicates are needed to get the Shade Raid Explosion.
