Cities: Skylines 2 has a mixed review on Steam: 54% of the 15,113 reviews were positive. The negative reviews mention many issues, from performance issues like a drop in frame rate to major bugs like broken buildings.

The company stated that Virtual Texturing allows your computer to render the game’s updated textures. Depending on your hardware, this shouldn’t take more than a minute. Players can see the virtual texturing process in the Notifications tab on the home screen.
