There are many incentives to level up in Fortnite. Aside from proving how dedicated you are to the game, the more you level up the Battle Pass, the more cosmetics you’ll unlock. Some of each season’s biggest and best items can only be unlocked by reaching level 100.

Some players have progressed to an art and have reached level 100 and above within a few weeks. Those who want to achieve the same results should adopt a set of habits to reach the same heights.

The fastest and cheapest way to level up in Fortnite is by completing challenges and quests in the game’s Battle Royale mode. Occasionally other modes will also have worthwhile quests, but Battle Royale will give you the most consistent results.

Each week a new set of quests will be released for players to complete in-game while attempting to survive the match. Quests typically award players between 15,000 and 20,000 XP, making them a great way to level up a few times in a short amount of time. Each Fortnite season also features story challenges that drive the game’s overall (albeit loose) narrative.

There is an additional way to get a lot of XP in a short time without playing Battle Royale. Fortnite’s creative maps are often an untapped treasure when it comes to XP, especially Deathrun and Parkour-style maps.

Creators can design it so that each “level” in the parkour run earns players a small amount of XP. Many of these maps have over 200 levels that can easily be completed in a short session. By completing each map, players walk away with plenty of XP.
