Hundreds of diners are being evacuated from the chic Mayfair restaurant, popular with Love Island stars, after a massive fire broke out in the basement

Hundreds of people have been evacuated after a fire broke out at the MNKY HSE Latin American restaurant on Dover Street in Mayfair, London.
The restaurant is popular with the Love Island crowd, with celebs dining there in August after a reunion episode.
The London Fire Brigade confirmed the incident and that the fire has now been extinguished.
A fire department spokesman said they were called at 9:40 p.m.

They said the incident was confined to the basement of the high-rise building.
Five fire engines and at least 25 firefighters were on site.
The fire was extinguished before the fire department arrived.
Around 300 people were in the restaurant and were evacuated by security personnel.
Two people were treated at the scene by London Ambulance.
They were the only people who needed medical attention.
All people were caught and the London Fire Brigade believe there were no serious injuries.
The fire brigade used thermal imaging cameras to check that everything was under control.
