I flew to Bali and a group of men insulted my baby for crying on the plane: This is why babies are not a problem on flights

A mother has beaten up two “drunk” men who insulted her one-year-old baby when he had trouble sleeping on a late flight.

Aria Nichols shared a photo of her smiling son after the long flight from Bali to New Zealand on Wednesday, but despite her son’s happy appearance, Ms Nichols said their trip was miserable.

“I flew from Bali to New Zealand last night with my baby on his first birthday,” she said.

“The drunk guys in front of us were really tough guys who scolded my baby for crying and laughing loudly when he fell asleep, which kept waking him up.”

“Babies are not a problem on flights.”

Ms Nichols said the men had their chairs fully reclined during the flight, making it difficult for them to get in and out of their seats.

Luckily, the flight attendants were able to help and informed the men that there was “no more vodka left.”

“They told them to raise their seats so I could climb back into my seat with the sleeping baby and eventually stopped serving them drinks,” Ms. Nichols wrote.

“I bet they’ve seen it all before and worse!”

The mother explained that the loud engine and changing pressure on flights were enough to upset any young child and stressed the importance of offering parents some understanding and support when traveling with children.

“Sometimes it can be quite stressful for them, and other times they travel like an absolute dream.” “So hard to predict,” she said.

“I try to avoid colds in the weeks before the trip as they make my ears hurt more.”

Dozens of Australians were shocked by the men’s rude behavior and called on travelers to be more compassionate towards children.

“I’m so sorry this happened to you.” “I honestly don’t know what happened to people, so much entitlement and lack of consideration,” one said.

“I’d rather sit next to a fussy baby than a drunk man any day,” wrote another.

‘How disgusting! “No, babies are never a problem,” said a third.
