I lost 238 pounds but it ruined my sex life

A woman who’s lost a whopping 238 pounds says the ‘loud’ leftover excess skin has ruined her sex life – and she’s taking nearly $9,000 to get rid of it.

Scarlet Cosi, 36, of Alabama, says she was once so tall that her classmates cruelly called her “spare tire.”

Scarlet, once a comfort and binge eater, admitted to previously consuming “nauseating” amounts of food and drink — a habit that cost her about $11,000 a year.

She suffered a double loss in 2018 when her mother died and her marriage ended, increasing her junk diet to the point that she weighed in at a staggering 392 pounds.

Her new body was riddled with thick wrinkles, “saggy breasts” and infections, and in 2019 she was referred for gastric sleeve surgery.

After surgery and a healthier lifestyle, Scarlet was thrilled to lose an incredible nine dress sizes.

Unfortunately, the fight had only just begun as she is now “appalled” at the “fluttering noises” her excess skin is making.

She said, “It’s really impacted my intimacy and romantic life with my partner.”

“It doesn’t matter how I twist, bend or lean, something is hanging on me.”

“I don’t enjoy being intimate because I’m constantly scared of my own body.” I make flapping noises and all kinds of weird noises and squeaks.

“My boobs look like I had a litter of puppies or something.” They’re terribly saggy.

“I have to roll it up and tuck it in my bra every time it leaks at the top or bottom.”

“Or if you were the one on top, it’s just saggy, melting skin and you know your partner loves you, but you know it’s probably awful to see.”

Scarlet admitted she used to eat “disgusting” amounts of food and drink and ended up being bullied because of her weight

Scarlet says she’s “ashamed” of her body and would rather be “asexual” so no one is forced to look at her.

She adds that the sagging skin has severely affected things in the bedroom with partner Justin King, 34, and calls their romp an “act of charity”.

What Scarlet ate before her diet

Breakfast: Two large coffee mugs, three biscuits (chicken, tenderloin or nonsense)

Lunch: 30 chicken strips, potato wedges and a biscuit, along with two green energy drinks

Dinner: Burritos, crispitos, hamburgers and pizza sticks with coke and coffee

What Scarlet is eating now

Breakfast: protein shake

Dinner: Roast chicken with steamed vegetables or salad

When she was at her heaviest, she had trouble breathing and kept falling asleep, so she used a CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) machine.

She never drank water, opting instead for 12 packs of soda a day.

Now Scarlet is “desperate” to scrape together some money to have her excess skin removed so she can feel confident in her own skin again.

Scarlet says of her boobs, “I roll them up and tuck them in my bra every time they pop out at the top or bottom.”

A failed attempt to sell her nudes on OnlyFans only made her $300, so she’s now raising $8,722 for the operation.

She explained, “People think it’s a matter of vanity, it’s so much more than that.”

“It causes health problems, the skin on my butt is so heavy it hurts my nerves and makes it difficult for me to bend down and sit up properly.”

“When I’m in the bath or in the water, my skin moves and swims and looks crazy.” It’s like a jellyfish effect, it really is, I don’t know how else to describe it.

“I feel punished for all my hard work and have changed from one monster to another because of my skin.”

“I’m still ashamed of my body and can’t be proud of it.”

“I just want to know what it’s like to be confident for once.”

“After my surgery, what I look forward to the most is looking normal.”

Nonetheless, since her first surgery and major lifestyle transformation, her health has improved drastically.

Scarlet says she’s worked hard to lose weight by exercising more and cutting her food intake in half.

Her restricted diet consists mostly of lean meats, protein smoothies, and vegetables.

However, the art lover remains deeply unhappy as she recalls the years of being mocked for her weight.

“All my life I’ve been bullied because I was growing up,” Scarlet recalls.

“They called me ‘big load’ and said ‘I’m so fat I should eat myself to death and get it over with’ so they wouldn’t have to look at me.

“Words were scarce but I was physically bullied.” I was thrown, tripped and hit.

“A gentleman came up to me while I was minding my own business and asked, ‘Aren’t you ashamed to be so fat?'”

“The bullying made me feel horrible.” It’s made the world a really scary place.

She recounts a “terrible” incident at Universal Studios where she was told she was “too fat” for the rides.

She said, “The most horrible thing happened at Universal Studios.”

“My friend and I waited in line for two hours to ride two different rides. I finally got there and I’m too fat for the rides.”

“They say, ‘It’s okay, we have a bigger seat for our bigger customers. Get the bigger seat!” and I’m too fat for that too.

“Everyone laughed at me, it was humiliating.”

“Another time I was at the theater and the seat belt didn’t click. It didn’t even go halfway around me and they told me to leave.

“I got up and ran away and everyone laughed. I cried and felt humiliated, it was so devastating. They put me in the spotlight in a dark theater, it was my worst nightmare.
