IceManIsaac claims rifle loadout in Warzone 2 is better than RPK meta

Warzone 2 player IceManIsaac has identified a rifle load that is better than the current meta RPK.

Rifles are the weapon of choice on Al Mazrah, and the RPK in particular dominates the pick rate more than most other weapons. Thanks to a large magazine, devastating power, and long-range effectiveness, it’s no surprise that it’s the top pick.

But not everyone subscribes to its popularity. IceManIsaac, for example, thinks there’s something much better out there.

According to IceManIsaac, the TAQ-V Battle Rifle is a little bit better, mostly thanks to its faster reload speed. Also, recoil is easier to control, making those hits more accurate. The streamer uses the following in its loadout:

According to IceManIsaac, the TAQ-V has a faster TTK compared to the RPK and is far more effective for headshots. The downside is that the TAQ-V has a smaller magazine size, sitting at 50 compared to the RPK’s 70. Players will find that they reload more often, but ideally land a lot more hits with the TAQ-V.
