I’m from Sydney and I’ve spent a year touring Europe – here’s everything I can’t wait to come back to (and I bet all Australians will agree)

An Australian has revealed the long list of activities and foods she’s looking forward to being reunited after a year away in Europe.
Lauren from Sydney has traveled to various ‘dream places’ such as England, Greece, Italy and more during her year abroad.
But the travelers’ thoughts kept returning to home and all the things they had missed since they left.
Her list included chips from Red Rock Deli, quality Australian coffee, spending time in the fresh produce department at Coles, strolling the aisles at Kmart and munching on chicken salt.
She also missed legendary Aussies Tim Tams and Bunnings – and vowed to head to their nearest location to sizzle a sausage as soon as they landed.
Adding to the grocery list was that Lauren failed to drink a lemon-lime with bitters “in three seconds,” eat a Woolworths chocolate mud cake, and “rid the entire bakery of all sausage rolls and meat pies.”
There were also several other aspects of her European trip that shocked her.
The Sydney woman said overseas feminine hygiene products felt ‘medieval’ and didn’t work properly – making much of her trip uncomfortable.
Public etiquette was also completely different – Lauren was unaware of the fact that people walk on different sides of the street.
“I miss having a designated walkway and saying hello to everyone I pass,” she wrote.

Many other expats and travelers shared their own lists of Australian favourites.
“I’ve lived in the UK without lemon, lime or bitters for four years – it’s been hell,” said one woman.
“I have dreams of Woolies mud pie sometimes,” wrote another.
“I miss having a certain side of the path to walk on – I get shoulder checks all the time in London,” said a Melbourne woman.
“Oh I miss so much a Woolies dish and all the dips – where in the UK do you get spring onions or hot peppers?” asked another.
