Indiana Pacers’ Buddy Hield scores the FASTEST 3-point shot in the play-by-play era when he netted within just THREE SECONDS of the game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, beating Reggie Miller’s shot at 11:56 in 2000
Indiana Pacers star Buddy Hield wasted no time in Thursday night’s game against Cleveland, scoring the fastest three-pointer in the NBA’s play-by-play era.
Hield scored after just three seconds after the tip fell perfectly on him before immediately jacking up a three – much to the delight of players at Indianapolis’ Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
The previous record was held by Pacers great Reggie Miller, who scored four seconds in a game against Golden State in 2000.
Cleveland recovered from the early deficit and led at the end of the first and second quarters, but currently trails the Pacers thanks to a blistering third quarter.
