Inside Cristiano Ronaldo’s first Saudi home! Superstar is set to put together a £250,000 bill in just a month
Cristiano Ronaldo wasted little time in ensuring he and his family receive a royal welcome in their new home, MailOnline can reveal.
The star striker, who became a super-millionaire after leaving Saudi Arabia last week, lives in a king’s lodging that gives him the best views of the capital in the poshest of surroundings.
The former Manchester United star, who signed a package worth more than £400million for the largely unknown Al Nassr club in the Saudi Pro League, resides in the Kingdom Tower, one of the tallest buildings in the country.
Cristiano Ronaldo and his family are staying at the Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
The Portuguese icon joined Saudi Pro-League giants Al-Nassr in a £175million-a-year deal
He was placed in one of the finest suites Riyadh has to offer, in one of 17 rooms occupied by his family, friends and security guards.
The self-proclaimed GOAT hardly needs to lift a finger as he tends to his every need in the Four Seasons Hotel’s plush suite, where the best room sizes exceed 3000 feet.
He’s booked into the huge suite for a month, and the Kingdom Suite, one of the best in the 99-story building, is spread over two floors.
The cost of the hotel suite isn’t even listed on the hotel’s website and must be booked privately, just like the neighboring “Royal Suite”.
But the smaller ‘Presidential Suite’ can be booked online and the cost for a night is a staggering £3300 per night.
It is estimated that the hotel bill for Ronaldo and his entourage will exceed £250,000 by the time he checks out and has found a permanent home for his partner Georgina Rodríguez and their five children.
Ronaldo was filmed by MailOnline leaving the Four Seasons Hotel on Sunday night
The 37-year-old star lives in the hotel’s spacious “Kingdom Suite”, which extends over two floors
Until then, they can enjoy the most spectacular views of the city and indulge in the finest dining in their five-star temporary home.
The hotel says of its Kingdom Suite: “Entertain guests with an unrivaled view of Riyadh. Spanning the hotel’s 48th and 50th floors, our newest two-story suite features a soaring living room, private office, dining room and media room.’
His ‘Royal Suite’ offers less space but at 860 meters would still be larger than most apartments in the UK, where Ronaldo lived twice during his time at Manchester United.
The hotel says the suite offers panoramic views of Riyadh and its surroundings, “bringing a unique sense of exclusivity to this versatile suite, which features an elegant dining room, pantry, living room and executive study.”
For dinner, the Portuguese star can enjoy “the best dishes from China, Japan, India and the Middle East, with the freshest ingredients made to order.”
As an athlete, the 37-year-old has to watch how much food he eats and keep an eye on fats and calories.
The chefs offer Ronaldo and his family an exclusive in-room dining service at the hotel
But if he wants a full fry for breakfast or the hotel’s signature dishes for dinner, including sea bass, beef chops and many of the best lamb and chicken dishes from top chefs, the footballer, who describes himself as ‘one of a kind’, is at his disposal . .
Due to his celebrity status, the chefs offer Ronaldo and his family an exclusive in-room dining service.
Staff have been asked not to request selfies with the star, but he has accommodated guests and their children and thanked hotel staff as they entered and exited the hotel.
The best restaurants elsewhere in the Saudi capital have also attracted Ronaldo, who on Saturday night visited Japanese restaurant Miyazo, which offers “contemporary cuisine fueled by passion for an opulent world and creative lifestyle”.
Wearing a gold and black patterned zip-up jacket and carrying a giant crucifix, he posed for selfies at guests’ request while his security guards looked on.
It’s estimated Ronaldo’s hotel bill will top £250,000 when he finally checks out
Ronaldo has also dined on Lebanese cuisine with a Saudi prince and the country’s top sports officials in upscale Diriyah.
Georgina, who has 44 million Instagram followers to Ronaldo’s 530 million, has also found the hotel very much to her liking, as it offers luxury shops on her doorstep and is located in a mall that houses popular brands like Louis Vuitton and less expensive Zara in which she was spotted.
There are also tennis courts, massage treatments, and a spa with a sauna and steam room.
If Ronaldo wants to turn on the romance with Georgina, the hotel can offer him an exclusive dinner on the Sky Bridge at the top of the Kingdom Tower, one of Riyadh’s most popular tourist destinations.
His hotel has promised to close off the entire bridge from the public and set up a dining table in the middle of the bridge.
According to the Four Seasons website, “Riyadh’s most stunning view is yours during a private dinner for two on the Sky Bridge.
“The 300 meter high bridge spans the top of the Kingdom Centre, home of the Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh, offering you an unparalleled panorama of the glittering city below.
“At a candlelit table in the center of the bridge, you will be treated to a three-course gourmet dinner, prepared by our Four Seasons culinary team.
The suite is bigger than anything the superstar would have experienced at Manchester United
“A professional photographer captures every romantic moment. . . From dusk to dawn the stars will never leave your eyes.’
While Ronaldo and his family are staying at their hotel, a search is conducted to find a permanent hideout.
Ronaldo and his family probably live in one of the most prestigious neighborhoods in the city, such as Al Muhammadiyah, known for its world-class restaurants, or Al Nakheel, popular with families for its international schools.
Both areas are close to Al Nassr’s 28,000-seat stadium in Msool Park, formerly known as King Saud University Stadium, and have a large number of high-end ground facilities built for western residents.
Many have their own swimming pools, preschools, shops, clinics, gyms and restaurants, so residents hardly ever have to leave.
The links allow expats to mingle with fellow westerners behind closed doors at weekends, although alcohol is banned, as is the case throughout Saudi Arabia.
He will remain at the Four Seasons Hotel until he finds long-term accommodation in Saudi Arabia
Property rental websites in Saudi Arabia do not list high-end rental properties as these are usually rented out through private agreements with expat employers.
Properties currently for sale in Riyadh include an eight-bedroom palace priced at 55 million Saudi riyals (£12.2million) that has an Olympic-size swimming pool and reception foyer with waterfall features, as well as three other villas on its grounds includes.
The palace, which could join Ronaldo’s reported portfolio of eight other properties around the world, is located in the Al Macqa neighborhood, just three miles from Msool Park, and includes accommodation for maids and chauffeurs.
He has plenty of time to help Georgina and his aides find a suitable mansion as he is banned from playing competitive football until serving a two-game ban for beating an Everton last April -slapped a mobile phone out of the hands of a student who was supporting him.
But he will be up against his great rival for the GOAT title, newly-crowned Argentinian World Champion Lionel Messi.
An Al-Nassr source said he is expected to play “about 30 minutes” in a friendly against Messi and PSG in Saudi Arabia on January 19, three days before making his debut in the Saudi Pro League for his leaders at home against Ettifaq, who are eights.
