Inside MasterChef star Callum Hann’s brand new restaurant in Adelaide, which promises “big flavors” and a “relaxed atmosphere”.

Former MasterChef contestant Callum Hann, 33, and his business partner Themis Chryssidis are preparing to launch a new business.
The couple will open a Mediterranean restaurant called Olive in the heart of Adelaide’s CBD on Friday.
Located on Pirie Street, one of the city’s best restaurants, the duo promises foodies a stylish family eatery with a relaxed atmosphere.
“We want a casual, relaxed atmosphere where good food, good music, good drinks and good people come together,” Themis said The Advertiser on Friday.
The new venture is located near their upscale restaurant Eleven, which they opened in 2020.

Callum added that diners can expect “big flavours”.
The varied menu is inspired by the cuisine of Lebanon, Turkey and Morocco, as well as Italy and Greece.
The most expensive item on the menu is a whole rainbow trout with caper butter and grilled lemon, priced at $55.
This came after Callum used his knowledge and experience as a runner-up on MasterChef in 2010 to open his own cooking school in Adelaide.
In 2011, he co-founded Sprout Cooking with nutritionist Themis.

Callum rose to fame at the age of 20 as a runner-up on the second season of MasterChef
He has cooked at Press Club, Maha, Hellenic Republic, and PM24, and has visited universities to teach students how to cook and eat well.
The chef returned to television in 2012 for the MasterChef All Stars season, which he won.
He also competed in MasterChef Australia: Back To Win in 2020, where he came fourth.
The young chef has also released three cookbooks in recent years.
