As we recently reported, the adult-only Oblu Select Lobigili in the Maldives was named #1 in the Hottest New Hotels category in the 2023 Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards, which analyzed reviews from 1.5 million properties.
Tripadvisor says the 68-villa resort exudes a “secluded, desolate vibe,” and these striking images certainly show it fits the bill for a Robinson Crusoe-style paradise getaway.
Images that evoke wanderlust feature dreamy villas over turquoise waters, large, elegant rooms with panoramic views, private pools with direct ocean views, pristine white-sand beaches, and hammocks swaying in the shade of palm trees.
As if that weren’t enough, the five-star resort lures guests with romantic scenarios that include floating breakfasts, private movie nights on the beach with champagne, and dining at the archipelago’s largest underwater ocean restaurant.
