Jason Alexander reveals he STILL talks to his ex-wife Britney Spears and says she’s also friends with his current wife: ‘There’s no jealousy’

Britney Spears’ ex-husband Jason Alexander claimed Thursday that he is still talking to the pop princess – and that she is friends with his now wife Rebecca Bell.

Alexander, 42, told Kyle and Jackie O that he hadn’t spoken to Britney, 41, for a decade after their marriage was annulled after 55 hours in 2004 – but they have since reconciled.

“There was a ten-year gap where I didn’t speak to her, but in 2020 she reached out to me and we started talking over the phone,” he began.

Alexander said that through regular phone calls, he managed to get close to Britney again almost two decades after her infamous annulment.

He added that Britney had even started talking to his now-wife Rebecca Bell, whom he married in March, and had become close to her.

“My wife is not at all jealous of the situation, she is very supportive. “She spoke to her on the phone several times and Britney said she was happy for us,” he added.

Elsewhere in the interview, Alexander, who famously eloped with the pop star in Las Vegas in 2004, said he called off her wedding to Sam Asghari last year to “check on her.”

The Toxic hitmaker’s childhood friend was arrested for assault and aggravated trespassing when he broke into her California home in 2022 – but he says he had a “good reason” to crash their wedding.

“She reached out to me in 2020 and we started talking on the phone and having this private conversation that no one really knew about,” he told hosts Kyle Sandilands and Jackie “O” Henderson.

“When the conservatorship ended, the way the conversations with her and I were going, I felt like we would be able to see each other in person for the first time since Vegas, other than just talking on the phone. “

He continued: “When I found out she was getting married, I literally spoke to her on the phone three days before on the Monday before the wedding and she didn’t even mention she was getting married.”

Jason went on to say he was “super surprised” by the wedding and decided to show up to the ceremony since he was “actually in California at the time.”

He insisted he was “actually just trying to see.” [Britney] and ask her if [the wedding] was really what she wanted.

Despite being asked to leave, Jason said he called Britney while livestreaming the entire incident on Instagram but received no response before being detained by security and later arrested.

Britney and Sam later split in August this year when the 29-year-old fitness trainer filed for divorce.

In her new memoir The Woman In Me, Britney claims her 55-hour marriage to Jason in 2004 was just “innocent fun” they had while “drunk” and “bored.”

The marriage, which took place on January 3, 2004 at A Little White Wedding Chapel, was annulled three days later on January 5.
