Jennifer Hudson Honors Whitney Houston With A Performance Of Greatest Love Of All At LA Pre-Grammy Gala
Jennifer Hudson presented a moving tribute to Whitney Houston at Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy party on Saturday night in Los Angeles.
The 41-year-old singer sang a rendition of the late star’s 1986 song “Greatest Love of All” at the star-studded event.
Also attending the gathering was Whitney’s The Bodyguard co-star Kevin Costner, who shared thoughtful words about Houston.
He paid homage to both Whitney and Clive as he told the music producer on stage, “None of us could end up protecting your beloved Whitney.”
Houston died of an overdose at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in 2012 at the age of 48.

For the occasion, the Chicago-raised entertainer stunned in a sparkling strapless silver gown covered in sequins.

The mother-of-one wore her dark hair in a fun and flirty bob haircut, complete with a undefined side part.
Jennifer looked gorgeous with her face carefully made up to draw attention to her distinctive features.
She rocked a smoky eyeshadow palette and accentuated her hazel eyes with black liner and mascara.
Finally, the Respect actress finished off the cosmetics presentation with the help of a bold red lipstick.
With diamond studs in his ears, sparkling bracelets on his wrists and a long, sharp manicure, Hudson posed alongside Clive on the red carpet.
The music industry titan, 90, wore a three-piece black suit with a white shirt and lime green tie.
