Jennifer Lopez gushes about her ‘dreamy’ husband Ben Affleck as she bags Shotgun Wedding

Jennifer Lopez is certainly still in the honeymoon phase with her new husband Ben Affleck, six months after they tied the knot.

Speaking on the Today show on Monday morning, the 53-year-old singer shared that Ben, 50, was “dreamy” and “a sweetheart”.

The halftime star bagged her new romantic comedy Shotgun Wedding on Prime Video alongside her co-star Josh Duhamel.

Jennifer and Ben wed in July 2022 in front of friends and family in Georgia after breaking off their engagement 20 years ago.

When Josh called Ben a “dream boat” on the Today show, Lopez jumped in: “He’s dreamy. He’s a darling,’ she added.

She then spoke about how they got together with their kids in Los Angeles.

They had to reunite their families early on.

She has twins Max and Emme, 14, with ex-husband Marc Anthony, and Ben has Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14, and Samuel, 10, with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.

“We moved in together. The kids moved in together,” Lopez told Jason Kennedy in an interview that aired Monday.

“It was really kind of an emotional transition, but at the same time all your dreams are coming true. And it was just a phenomenal year. My best year I think since my kids were born.

“The last time Ben and I were together, on this album, it was such a journey,” she said.

“I think I’ve been wondering all my life, is love real? Does true love exist? It’s two people coming together and saying, ‘I’ll be here no matter what. And we will get through it together.”

In September, she said they both laughed the night before their wedding.

They thought it would be fun to remarry at their age, she said on social media.

“We’ve both been married before and we’re not really kids anymore, but somehow we just seemed like the only age that made sense now,” she offered.

They next appear in a Dunkin’ Donuts commercial where he works in a drive-through.
