The former Top Gear presenter wrote that he was kept awake at night dreaming of Mrs Markle having to parade “naked” through cities in the UK “while the crowd chanted ‘Shame!'” (Pictured: Meghan Markle in her recent Netflix documentary).
She wrote: “My views are and have always been clear when it comes to misogyny, bullying and the media’s treatment of women.
“I want to be very clear that I oppose everything my dad has written about Meghan Markle and I continue to stand up for those who are being targeted with online hate.”
Clarkson faced backlash after saying he despised the Duchess of Sussex “at a cellular level” and “pityed” Prince Harry, who is “controlled” by his wife.
In an apparent reference to the iconic Walk of Shame scene in Game of Thrones, Clarkson added that he’d like to see “people throw clumps of feces at them.”
In a column for The Sun, Clarkson said: “I hate her. Not that I hate Nicola Sturgeon or Rose West. I hate them on a cellular level.

“At night I can’t sleep as I lay there grinding my teeth and daydreaming about the day when she has to parade naked through the streets of every city in Britain while the crowd chants ‘Shame!’ and throw clods of feces at them.
“Everyone my age thinks the same way.”
However, amid social media outrage over his comments, Carol Vorderman tweeted that “we absolutely do NOT think the same thing.”
She wrote: “NO Jeremy Clarkson. There is no way, under any circumstances, that it’s okay to write this stuff about every woman and absolutely NO to “everyone my age thinks the same”.
‘No no no. We absolutely do NOT think the same. Listen to the noise Jeremy. The crowds chant ‘Shame on YOU’.’

Another celebrity who expressed anger at Clarkson’s comments was Dom Joly, who wrote: “Literally flabbergasted by the extremely vile and disgusting comments Jeremy Clarkson wrote in the sun about Meghan Markle.
‘What a total piece of shit he is… what triggers these types of men?’
The activist dr. Ayoade Alakija also called for Mr Clarkson to be “arrested for inciting violence against a woman”.
Journalist Courtney Pouchin also asked: “Is it any wonder Meghan Markle is scared?
“It’s terrifying to know that there are men like Jeremy Clarkson out there who openly admit that they sit around at night fantasizing about violence against women – and think that’s perfectly acceptable. It is not. And something has to be done.’
