Jeremy Renner’s recovery will take years, far worse than anyone knows after being crushed by a snowplow

Jeremy Renner’s condition is far worse than previously reported after being injured by a snow plough, according to friends of the film star.
Renner was helping a stranded family member whose car broke down near his mansion near Lake Tahoe, Nevada when a 14,330-pound snow plow machine ran over him.
At the time, Renner officials said he suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries and was in critical but stable condition following surgery.
However, friends now say Renner’s injuries are far worse than anyone knows and he “almost bled to death” and “almost died” while waiting for help to arrive.

‘It’s a lot worse than anyone knows. Jeremy is very aware of the fact that he almost died out there,” a source told RadarOnline.
“The right side of Jeremy’s chest was shattered and his torso collapsed. He also had a bad head wound that was bleeding and a leg injury.’
The actor is reportedly aware of the extent of his injuries and has a long road to recovery ahead of him. Friends say it could be up to two years before he’s back in fighting shape.
“Jeremy was in a lot of pain and was having trouble breathing,” a source told RadarOnline. “He knew he was in trouble and that he might not make it.

Renner shared hospital footage of what he appeared to be when he was taken for either a CT scan or an MRI on Friday. Captioning the video of him being moved to a large, high-tech imaging machine, Renner wrote, “Have a very special night everyone.”
“It is said that the damage to Jeremy’s chest was so extensive that it had to be surgically reconstructed,” the source continued.
“He has had two surgeries so far and will likely need more surgeries on his leg in the coming weeks. Doctors tend to delay surgeries to allow the body’s natural healing process to take place, and that’s the case here.”
Renner’s family members have been by his side since the accident, including his mother Cearley and sister Kym. They help entertain him while the actor heals.
“Jeremy is fine. He’s pumped up and has tubes to help him breathe, but he’s a fighter and he’s determined to get through this.’
On Monday, Renner shared a photo of the snowy surroundings of Lake Tahoe on social media.
