Jesy Nelson deletes her Instagram and teases brand new music

Jesy Nelson has cleared her social media before releasing brand new music as she teased her latest release.

The former Little Mix star, 31, has deleted all her posts from her Instagram grid and teased her new release after launching her solo music career.

After deleting her previous posts from the platform, she took to Instagram on Friday to share a short video teasing her new single.

Only Jesy’s legs could be seen in the clip as she wore bright orange platform shoes and knee-high white socks and strutted her stuff.

With melodious music playing in the background, she was seen walking towards a straw chair before the video ended, which kept fans in suspense.

Alongside the post, Jesy hinted at the release of her potentially upcoming new music, writing, “It’s about time.”

In a post shared to her Instagram Stories on Friday, she had simply written “5pm” teasing the video.

As well as deleting her Instagram posts, Jesy updated her profile picture to one that simply said her full name.

Jesy is preparing to reveal new music after releasing her first solo single Boyz in October 2021 after splitting from Little Mix.

She will now independently release her second solo single, Cried Out, after splitting from Polydor in July last year due to “creative differences”.

Claims follow that Jesy is close to signing a big new deal with Warner Records before they release Cried Out.

She is said to be in advanced talks with the label and they will be keeping a close eye on her and fan reaction to the song before reportedly offering a deal.

A source told The Sun: “It’s been a tumultuous few months for Jesy but she’s working hard to come back with a bang. She’s had meetings with labels including Warner over the possibility of signing a new deal.

“Jesy will be releasing Cried Out as an independent artist and labels will be keeping a close eye on reactions to the song. After being so unhappy, Jesy really enjoys being independent.

“But she has made it clear that if someone makes her the right offer, she will take it. She’s been in talks with Warner for some time, but it all depends on finding a deal that suits both of them.’

The source went on to admit that friends close to the star believe her future with Warner Records is bright, but “nothing is set in stone.”

Jesy has spent weeks teasing her upcoming album but the release date is yet to be announced.

Earlier this month, Jesy delighted her fans by sharing videos of herself sitting at her desk while recording new music and writing a “to-do list”.

In the clip, she put on a busty show in a gray bralet and matching sweatpants, complementing her relaxed look with a gold necklace.

Jesy swept her brunette tresses back into an updo, letting strands fall loosely around her face to frame her features.

The singer accentuated her striking features with mascara and a swipe of matte brown lipstick.

In the video, she panned down her enviable frame and showed off her arm and waist hues before turning the camera around to show her surroundings.

Her boyfriend Zion Foster appeared to be sitting next to her at the desk and looked focused as he sauntered around on his laptop, possibly hinting that he might be able to help Jesy with her tracks.

Jesy turned the camera around to reveal a glowing, colorful sign that reads ‘My Happy Place’, while headphones and sound gear were also on her desk.

In another video, Jesy teased her new music as she showed herself singing into a mic and editing her recordings on her laptop.

She also danced in front of her desk while seeming to enjoy her new creation and enjoyed some downtime to relax while she worked hard.

Jesy also shared a clip of herself writing a “to-do list” and pointing out the work she still needs to do before releasing her new music.

It read: “Re-record whisper line, edit music video, finalize all ad-libs.”

Though she didn’t confirm the release date for her new music, she teased, “Not for long.”

Showing his support, Zion commented, “They are not ready‼️”
