Joe Biden has been accused of a “lack of respect” after he left the Medal of Honor ceremony EARLY, leaving the Vietnam War hero awkwardly alone while he listened to the final blessing

President Biden sparked backlash after hastily exiting a Medal of Honor ceremony at the White House, awkwardly leaving a celebrated war hero alone on the stage.

Biden, 80, quickly left the East Room after presenting the country’s top military decoration to Larry Taylor, 81, a retired Army captain who was hailed for his exploits in the Vietnam War.

But while Taylor shed a tear as the medal was pinned to his lapel, Biden seemed less moved from moment to moment as he reportedly walked out the door before the final blessing was read.

While many reacted with anger, some speculated that the Commander-in-Chief was attempting to put the spotlight on the veteran, leading to an awkward moment that left Taylor alone on stage.

The blip came after Biden was previously criticized for removing his mask just before greeting Taylor, despite first lady Jill Biden testing positive for Covid-19 the day before.

Biden’s quick escape is the latest in a long line of incidents that have led people to brand him as disrespectful to the troops, including an infamous moment when he died during a ceremony honoring soldiers who died in a suicide bombing ISIS-K killed in Kabul repeatedly checked the clock. Biden honored Taylor, a retired Army captain, for his bravery in the Vietnam War, where he risked his life for his comrades in the jungle in June 1968.

The helicopter pilot received the award for his role in rescuing a squadron surrounded by enemy forces as he flew through gunfire and shelling ground forces for nearly an hour.

Running out of ammunition, Taylor descended into the battlefield and pulled out the foot soldiers, saving them from certain death.

But while Taylor emotionally wiped away a tear as the medal was pinned to his lapel, Biden seemed less moved from moment to moment.

His quick departure was condemned by military veterans following the ceremony, who argued that he had shown a brazen lack of respect for the veteran.

“Excuse my French… But what an idiot,” said former Navy SEAL Shawn Ryan. “The enduring lack of respect Biden has for everyone is appalling.”

Ryan, a podcast host, also called Biden’s recent appearance in wildfire-ravaged Hawaii as evidence of his apparent lack of respect. The incident led to the president initially being criticized for not speaking out on the crisis before delivering a rambling speech and flying to Lake Tahoe on vacation.

His recent disdain sparked a wave of anger from military supporters online when the daughter of a deceased colonel, who was lying in Arlington Cemetery, condemned him for “leaving Taylor alone on stage”.

“He hates our military,” she concluded.

“What about Biden?” “He continues to show disrespect to our men and women in uniform,” said another stunned viewer.

“This is where you leave a Medal of Honor winner alone on the stage while he makes his way out the door.” There’s nothing honorable about this president.”

While many reacted with anger, Texas Congressman Wesley Hunt, an Army veteran, made light of the apparent disrespect by pointing out Biden’s previous mistakes at the 2021 Afghanistan ceremony, saying, “At least he’s not up this time.” watched the clock.”

The president has come under increasing criticism for his advanced age in recent months as his re-election campaign heats up. The military report Military Arms also targets his age on X, formerly Twitter.

“Do you think that was done on purpose or is it just more senile moments?” I think the guy is so self absorbed that he makes mistakes like this.

“God, this man is a tremendous disgrace to our nation,” he said.

Earlier in the ceremony, Biden raised eyebrows as he removed his face mask while standing next to the 81-year-old war hero, despite his wife Jill testing positive for Covid-19 the day before.

The President entered the room wearing a black face mask but decided to remove it before the ceremony began.

He then went maskless for several minutes while standing next to Taylor. The president remains negative after tests Monday night and Tuesday morning and is showing no symptoms.

Before the event, the White House said it would follow CDC guidelines, while press secretary Karine Hean-Pierre said he would only remove it if there was “adequate” distance from others.

“He will mask himself indoors and around people, consistent with CDC guidelines and as has been historical practice.”

“The President will remove his mask if he maintains sufficient distance from others inside and outside,” she said Tuesday before the ceremony.

The President did not put his mask back on as he exited the East Room but gave a thumbs-up when asked how his wife was doing and said she was “fine.”

His decision to remove the mask caused headaches among viewers, with one woman remarking, “I’m overwhelmed by his behavior.” “There’s no point in coming in masked and then unmasking everyone and putting everyone in danger.”

“I hope that if they get sick, their families will complain,” said another reviewer.

The allegation that he disrespected the troops comes two years after the infamous moment Biden appeared to be looking around at American soil during the “dignified transfer” of the 13 American soldiers killed in a suicide bombing in Kabul to look at the clock.

After he interrupted the solemn moment to glance at his watch, numerous military veterans spoke out and bemoaned his behavior.

“Seems he was uncomfortable having to show these American heroes some respect.” [sic]wrote Desert Storm Army veteran Samuel Williams.

Submarine veteran J Larry Hanna wrote, ‘As Biden dragged the coffins past him, he had to check his watch.’ Does he have something more important?’

Another veteran wrote, “After a fallen soldier walks by, Biden shows his true soul incredibly disrespectful, he looks at his watch like he needs to be somewhere else.” “I’m so angry, this is a personal slap to all veterans and active duty.”
