Julia Haart gets behind the wheel of an ambulance to bring medical supplies to war-torn Ukraine

Julia Haart is on a Mission of Mercy in Ukraine.

The My Unorthodox Life traveled to the war-torn country where she will drive an ambulance to deliver medical supplies and other supplies on behalf of Ukraine Friends.

The group is a US-based non-profit organization that, according to its website, is dedicated to providing critical relief in Ukraine through humanitarian relief, refugee assistance and a focus on recovery and reconstruction.

The reality star, 51, shared a video of the bright yellow vehicle she will be driving on Instagram Stories on Friday, revealing: “I’ll be an ambulance driver soon and deliver medical supplies and toys everywhere we go.”

Julia was wrapped in a thick black and white ski jacket, with a black hood over her long dark hair.

There may be a learning curve for them since the driver’s seat is on the right side of the vehicle instead of the left.

The mother-of-four, who shares screen time on My Unorthodox Life with children Batsheva, 29, Shlomo, 27, Miriam, who turns 23 in January, and Aron, 15, hasn’t revealed how long she’s been in Ukraine will stay.

Driving an ambulance won’t be the first challenge she has to face.

The Moscow-born entrepreneur left the conservative Haredi Jewish community where she grew up in 2013 and raised her children.

The former teacher, who secretly sold life insurance on the side before she left, changed her name from Talia Hendler to Julia Haart and started her own shoe company.

She later worked with La Perla on their accessories collection and was then hired as the company’s creative director. The 5’5″ Spitfire created a love match with company president Silvio Scaglia, 64, who married him in 2019, but the couple split earlier this year.

Julia is currently the CEO and Chief Creative Officer of Elite World Group, a modeling agency.

The journey may be rewarding, but it will not be easy. Julia shared a video from her hotel room on the evening of her arrival. The power was off and she showed off her only light source to her thousands of followers.

“We have these really cool lights that run on solar energy, so I’m going to use them to guide my way tonight.”

Noting that the room was decorated with a Christmas tree, she shared, “Even without lights, there’s still some joy.”
